The Teleporter Has Been Fixed!


Hello!

So the voting period for the GMTK Jam 2018 has ended and FunkSynk ended at rank 50 in the entire competition! Wowzers! Both Louis and I are very grateful for all of the support, comments and feedback from everyone who did play the game. Mark himself said that we have something that is "almost incredible", so please stay tuned to see where this concept goes next! However, the next time you see this it may be presented in a quite different way than it is now, but everything is up-in-the-air at the moment on everything.


Speaking of up-in-the-air, a new version of FunkSynk has been uploaded! So let's fix some bugs:

  • THE TELEPORTER NOW EXISTS IN LEVEL 1!
    • When you eliminate all the enemies, you can actually find the teleporter now!
  • A 2ND LEVEL HAS BEEN ADDED!!
    • This level has some groundbreaking features, such as:
      • Enemies!!!
      • Music!!!
      • A Teleporter!!!
      • Level Layout!!!
      • Even More Tough-As-Nails Encounters!!!
  • THE GAME OVER SCREEN CAN NOW BE SKIPPED WITH 'ENTER'!!! 

And so that marks the end of the patch notes: the game is now officially PLAYABLE!

One final thing, users LuiCat and Xavier Ekkel both suggested that I submit FunkSynk to the Music Game Jam 2018 and we have now done so: it will be awesome to see what other people have done with their submissions, so thank you again for suggesting we enter it.
